Wessel Wallert: “As with many people who go up the path of self development, my first introduction to Kundalini Yoga came from a personal desire. A desire from a deeper place within myself to make choices and to shape my life. This desire brought me into contact with Kundalini Yoga in 2003. It was a moment of confrontation, recognition, and a deep inner confirmation. After a period of intensive lessons and became acquainted with all aspects of this particular yoga form.
I started in 2005 with the Kundalini Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training. This was followed by the Level 2 continued training and further specializations such as the International Yoga Therapy Training. During this period of training I saw the power and beauty of teaching, where I am focussing on full time since 2006.
As a teacher, trainer and coach I stand for an honest and sincere approach. I am speaking to anyone who wants to make steps in his or her personal development. It is a privilege to be able to accompany and support people. That I can comes from understanding and the depth comes from the inner work that I myself have performed in recent years according to the tradition of Kundalini Yoga.As a full time yoga teacher I am associated with, among other things, Studio BE and Yoga Yoga in Haarlem and Bloemendaal and Lifestyle and Yoga Garden in Amsterdam”.
Thierry Ananda: : “My yoga journey starts 20 years ago, at the Iyengar Yoga studio in Amsterdam. Never could I have imagined the healing effect I experienced and the peace I felt after the class. I had 8 years of Korean martial arts training and yoga brought my practice to the next level. My body awareness increased and the world of conscious awareness revealed itself to me. I never stopped. In 2010 I discovered Ashtanga yoga and only a few years later I got my license to teach Vinyasa and Yin yoga.
In my search for refinement and a more complete practice I discovered Kundalini Yoga in Barcelona in 2014. I was completely taken by the potency and completeness of the practice.
I was impressed with the variety of the exercises, the different Pranayamas (breathing techniques), the postures (asana’s), the clear focus on the mental and energetic benefits of the postures and the beautiful meditations at the end of the practice to ‘seal’ the impact of what we did in class, at times even including the usage of our voice, reciting mantra’s.
My intention is to share with you the beauty of this powerful form of yoga, accompanying you on the journey of discovering what potential resides inside of you. The practice will show you the healing quality of your breath, work on strengthening your nervous system, increase your awareness and your mental balance, build your stamina and resilience, so you can go through life with your heart as the compass for your choices and the place where you can always return to and find your rest. That is what it did for me.
I invite you wholeheartedly to my classes to get a taste of the practice and if you choose so, fully immerse yourself into it.
Love to all, light to all, peace to all”.
